At Hudson Meat Company, our commitment to quality and safety is our top priority. As a federally inspected USDA plant, we participate in regular product testing and inspections to ensure quality control and safety in all areas. Our facility is SQF Level 2 certified by the Safe Quality Food Institute. We also conduct internal audits on a regular basis.
Hudson Meat Company has been operating under a USDA-approved Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Plan since 1997. This plan identifies and eliminates potential food safety hazards.
SQF Level 2 Certification
Hudson Meat Company took its quality and safety initiative to the next level by adopting guidelines for SQF certification through the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). An important next step in our commitment to the Certified Angus Beef brand, SQF certification is based on a rigorous, credible food safety management system.
